Woe to those who rise up early in the morning to go after strong drink; tarrying in the twilight while wine inflames them!

Prepare slaughter for his sons, because of the iniquity of their fathers, so that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

And He shall say, Raise up! Raise up! Clear the way! Make the stumbling-block rise out of the way of My people.

and if you draw out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall your light rise in darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday.

For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but Jehovah shall rise on you, and His glory shall be seen on you.
