And whatever villages or towns or country places He came to, they would lay the sick in the market-places and beg Him to let them touch just the tassel of His coat, and everybody that touched it was cured.

and to be saluted in the market-places, And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost places at feasts: Who devour widows houses, and for a pretence make long prayers:

Then again, put he his hands upon his eyes, and he saw clearly, and was restored, and was seeing distinctly, in broad splendour, all things together.

When the Sabbath came, He began to teach in the synagogue; and many who listened to Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get these things [this knowledge and spiritual insight]? What is this wisdom [this confident understanding of the Scripture] that has been given to Him, and such miracles as these performed by His hands?

But he went out and began to publish it so much and to spread the story so far, that Jesus could not any more go into any town openly, but had to stay out in thinly settled places. But the people kept coming to Him from every quarter.

And in His teaching He continued to say: "Beware of the scribes who like to go about in long robes, to be saluted with honor in public places,

For one nation will go to war with another, and one kingdom with another. There will be earthquakes in many places; there will be famines. But this is only the beginning of the agonies.

came flocking from all quarters, carrying their sick on their beds to the places where they heard he was:

dismiss them, that they may go into the country-places and villages round about, and buy themselves bread; for they have nothing to eat.

And, some, fell on the rocky places, evenwhere it had not much earth, - and, straightway, it sprang forth, by reason of its not having depth of earth;

And these are likewise they upon the rocky places sown, - who, as soon as they hear the word, straightway, with joy receive it,

And many came together immediately, so that there was no room, not even in the places about the door; and he spoke to them the word.

As soon as he got out of the boat, a man possessed by a foul spirit came out of the burial places near by to meet him.

Then he ordered the people to take their places on the ground. And he took the seven loaves and gave thanks and broke them in pieces and gave them to his disciples to pass, and they passed them to the people.
