He is like unto a man building a house, who digged, and deepened, and laid a foundation upon the rock, - and, a flood, coming, the stream burst against that house, and was not strong enough to shake it, because it had been, well, built.

But, he that hath heard and not done, is like unto a man having built a house upon the earth, without a foundation, - against which the stream burst, and, straightway, it fell in; and it came to pass, that, the crash of that house, was, great.

That the blood of all the prophets which hath been shed from the foundation of the world, may be sought out, from this generation, -

lest once, he having laid a foundation, and not being able to finish, all who are looking on, should begin to mock at him,

And will level thee with the ground, and thy children within thee, and will not leave, stone on stone, within thee: because thou didst not get to know the season of thy visitation.

As to these things, which ye are looking upon, There will come days, in which there will not be left here, stone upon stone, which will not be taken down.
