saying, "The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised."

And he was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests the scribes and the leaders of the people sought to destroy him,

One day as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes, together with the elders, came up to him

The chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on him that very hour, but they feared the peoplefor they knew that he had spoken this parable against them.

And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to kill him, for they feared the people.

So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and officers, how he might betray him to them.

Then Jesus said to the chief priests, officers of the temple, and the elders who had come to him, "Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?

As soon as it was day, the council of the elders of the people came together, both chief priests and scribes; and they led him away to their council chamber, saying,

Then Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, "I find no crime in this man."

The chief priests and the scribes stood by, vehemently accusing him.

Pilate then called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people,

and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and crucified him.
