they questioned him, then, 'Who is the man who is saying to thee, Take up thy couch and be walking?'
and his disciples propos'd to him this question, master, was it for his own sins, or for the sins of his parents, that he was born blind?
they therefore question'd the blind man again, what do you say of the man that made you see? he is a prophet, said he.
they still urg'd the same question, what did he do to thee? how did he make you see?
But, how he now seeth, we know not, or, who opened his eyes, we, know not, - Question, him, he is, of age, he, concerning himself, shall speak.
For this cause, his parents said - He is, of age, - question him.
“Who are You?” they questioned.
Then the Jews put this question to him: What sign of authority have you to give us, seeing that you do these things?
So he put a question to them as to the hour when he became better; and they said to him, The disease went from him yesterday at the seventh hour.
So Pilate came out to them and put the question: What have you to say against this man?

So they pressed the question. "Who are you?" they said--"that we may take an answer to those who sent us. What account do you give of yourself?"
So the disciples began questioning one another. "Can it be," they said, "that some one has brought Him something to eat?"
Jesus answered their question by saying, "My teaching does not belong to me, but comes from Him who sent me.
More alarmed than ever, Pilate no sooner heard these words than he re-entered the Praetorium and began to question Jesus.
So they were looking for Jesus as they stood in the temple [area], and saying among themselves, “What do you think? Will He not come to the feast at all?”

The Jews, however, refused to believe that he had been blind and had gained his sight, until they had called his parents and questioned them.
