Moses was educated in all the culture of the Egyptians, and was a mighty man in speech and action.

He shouted with a mighty voice: "She has fallen! Mighty Babylon has fallen! She has become a den for demons, a dungeon for every foul spirit and every unclean and loathsome bird,

They will stand a long way off for fear of her torture, saying, 'Alas! Alas for the great city, for Babylon the mighty city, because in a single day your judgment has overtaken you!'

Then a mighty angel picked up a stone like a huge millstone and hurled it into the sea, saying: "With violence like this, Babylon the great city will be hurled to ruin, and it will never be found again.

Then I heard something like the shout of a great multitude and the roar of many waters and the peal of mighty thunders, saying: "Praise the Lord! For the Lord, our Almighty God, has now begun to reign!

because in spite of a terrible test of trouble, the mighty flood of their gladness mingling with the depths of their poverty has overflowed and resulted in the abundance of their liberality.

for the weapons used in my warfare are not mere human ones, but through my God are mighty for demolishing fortresses.

and how surpassingly great is His power for us who believe, measured by His tremendously mighty power
