that ye may be sons of your Father Who is in Heaven; because He causeth His sun to rise on evil men and on good, and sendeth rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous.

"And brother will deliver up brother to death; and father, his child; and children will rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.

"The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it; because they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here.

"A queen of the south will rise up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it; because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

saying, Sir, we were reminded that that Deceiver said, while yet living, 'After three days I rise again;'

and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, he knows not how.
