Why dost thou boast of evil, O strong man? The mercy of God is day by day.

Those that trust in their wealth and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; none of them can by any means ransom his brother, nor give God an atonement for him; (for the redemption of their soul is of great price, and they shall never pay it) read more.

And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord, and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauty of holiness; as the dew which falls from the womb of the morning, thus shall those who are thine be born unto thee.

And we now know that unto those who love God, all things help them unto good, to those who according to the purpose are called to be saints. But as it is written, That which eye has not seen nor ear heard neither has entered into the heart of man is that which God has prepared for those that love him. But God has revealed this unto us by his Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of man, except the spirit of man which is in him? Even so no one has known the things of God, but the Spirit of God. Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that God has given us. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but with doctrine of the Holy Spirit, jointly fitting spiritual things by spiritual means. But the natural man does not perceive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are his judgments and his ways past finding out! For who has understood the intent of the Lord? or who has been his counsellor? Or who has first given unto him, that it be recompensed unto him again? read more.
