And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian pulled up stakes with the rewards of divination in their hand. And they came to Balaam and spoke the words of Balak to him.

For I will raise you up to very great honor, and I will do whatever you say to me. Please come then and curse this people for me.

And the king said to the man of God, Come home with me and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward.

How long will you judge unjustly and lift up the faces of the wicked? Selah.

An unjust man is a hateful thing to the just; and he who is upright in the way is hateful to the wicked.

It is not for kings, O Lemuel, not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes to lust for strong drink; lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
