Obey those who lead you. Submit to them: for they watch in behalf of your lives and must account for this. Obey them that their work may be a joy and not a burden; that would be without gain for you.

Receive him therefore in the Lord with all joy. Hold such in honor
We ask you, brothers, to appreciate those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you. To esteem them very highly in love because of the work they do. And be at peace among yourselves.
Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and in teaching.
Remember those who are taking the lead among you, men that spoke the Word of God to you. Consider their behavior and imitate their faith.

Now if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear, for he works the work of God, as I also do. Let no one despise him. But conduct him in peace that he may come to me, for I look for him with the brothers.

You also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the good news, when I departed from Macedonia, no other congregation shared their money with me. Only you shared with me. While I was in Thessalonica you provided for my needs twice. Not that I seek the gift but I seek the fruit that adds to your account. I have all things, and prosper: I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you. It is an odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God.
