He was faithful to Him who appointed him, just as Moses was in His entire house. He has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses. This is because the builder of the house has more honor than the house.

When they had accomplished all things that were according to the law of God they returned to Galilee, to their own city Nazareth.

This Book of the Law will not depart out of your mouth. You must meditate (intensely study) (think deeply) on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. Then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Let them be covered with sackcloth, both man and beast. Let them sincerely call on God! Let them turn away each one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in his hands. Who knows whether God will turn back and change his mind, and turn away from his fierce anger that we will not perish? God saw their works! That they turned from their evil way. The people in town got up early the next morning. They found that the altar to Baal and the symbol of Asherah had been cut down. The second bull had been burned on the altar that was built there.

No one has seen God at any time! If we love one another, God lives with us, and his love is perfected (accomplished) (matured) through us.

Whatever we ask we receive from Him because we obey His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.

This is the confidence that we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of your heart, as to Christ.
