The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather from His kingdom everything that causes sin and those guilty of lawlessness.


God reigns over the nations;
God is seated on His holy throne.

Do you not know that the unjust will not inherit God's kingdom? Do not be deceived: no sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, or swindlers will inherit God's kingdom.


God has spoken in His sanctuary:
“I will triumph! I will divide up Shechem.
I will apportion the Valley of Succoth.

Concerning the prophets:

My heart is broken within me,
and all my bones tremble.
I have become like a drunkard,
like a man overcome by wine,
because of the Lord,
because of His holy words.








The Lord is righteous in all His ways
and gracious in all His acts.




Now the Scripture passage he was reading was this:

He was led like a sheep to the slaughter,
and as a lamb is silent before its shearer,
so He does not open His mouth.

Taking along Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. Then He said to them, "My soul is swallowed up in sorrow -to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with Me." Going a little farther, He fell facedown and prayed, "My Father! If it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will."


because zeal for Your house has consumed me,
and the insults of those who insult You
have fallen on me.


But I am a worm and not a man,
scorned by men and despised by people.

For even the Messiah did not please Himself. On the contrary, as it is written, The insults of those who insult You have fallen on Me.



For who is greater, the one at the table or the one serving? Isn’t it the one at the table? But I am among you as the One who serves.





They brought the donkey and the colt; then they laid their robes on them, and He sat on them.



For it is clear that He does not reach out to help angels, but to help Abraham’s offspring.






During His earthly life, He offered prayers and appeals with loud cries and tears to the One who was able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence.



This is why the Father loves Me, because I am laying down My life so I may take it up again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down on My own. I have the right to lay it down, and I have the right to take it up again. I have received this command from My Father."


Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t His mother called Mary, and His brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas?

We know that God has spoken to Moses. But this man—we don’t know where He’s from!”



He then says, See, I have come to do Your will. He takes away the first to establish the second.


Therefore, when Jesus knew that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He withdrew again to the mountain by Himself.



While He was reclining at the table in the house, many tax collectors and sinners came as guests to eat with Jesus and His disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked His disciples, "Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"


Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan, to be baptized by him. But John tried to stop Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and yet You come to me?" Jesus answered him, "Allow it for now, because this is the way for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him [to be baptized].


And Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family line of David, to be registered along with Mary, who was engaged to him and was pregnant. Then she gave birth to her firstborn Son, and she wrapped Him snugly in cloth and laid Him in a feeding trough-because there was no room for them at the inn.


Next, He poured water into a basin and began to wash His disciples’ feet and to dry them with the towel tied around Him.




Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and glorify the King of heaven, because all His works are true and His ways are just. He is able to humble those who walk in pride.

The works of His hands are truth and justice;
all His instructions are trustworthy.






For every one of God’s promises is “Yes” in Him. Therefore, the “Amen” is also spoken through Him by us for God’s glory.


You will show loyalty to Jacob
and faithful love to Abraham,
as You swore to our fathers
from days long ago.


All the Lord’s ways show faithful love and truth
to those who keep His covenant and decrees.




He reaches down from heaven and saves me,
challenging the one who tramples me.Selah
God sends His faithful love and truth.


They sang the song of God’s servant Moses and the song of the Lamb:

Great and awe-inspiring are Your works,
Lord God, the Almighty;
righteous and true are Your ways,
King of the Nations.


Then I heard someone from the altar say:

Yes, Lord God, the Almighty,
true and righteous are Your judgments.


Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and glorify the King of heaven, because all His works are true and His ways are just. He is able to humble those who walk in pride.
