Jehovah said to Moses: Come up on the mountain and stay here for a while. I will give you the two stone tablets on which I have written the laws that my people must obey.

Moses came down from Mount Sinai. The two tablets of the testimony were in Moses' hand as he came down from the mountain. Moses did not know that the skin of his face glowed because he spoke with God.

Do not desire another man's wife; do not covet another man's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his donkey, or any thing that belongs to him.' The man replied: Which law? And Jesus said: Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false witness,
Owe no man any thing but to love one another. He that loves another has fulfilled (obeyed) the law. For the Law code says: You must not commit adultery, you must not murder, you must not steal, you must not bear false witness, and you must not covet. If there is any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying; namely, you must love your neighbor as yourself.
Do not rob the poor because he is poor, or crush the afflicted at the gate.
He that steals must steal no more. Let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to someone in need.
