I have said to the pit, Thou art my father; to the worms, my mother, and my sister.


because thou wilt not leave my soul in Hades, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them.

knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance, for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that does wrong shall receive the wrong which he has done, now that there is no respect of persons.

but as he who has called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; for it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. And if ye invoke as Father, he who without respect of persons judges according to the work of each one, converse in fear the entire time of your sojourning here,

and thou say in thy heart, My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth. But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God, for it is he that gives thee the power to get wealth that he may confirm his covenant which he swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
