This, is the record of the generations of Adam. In the day when God created man, In the likeness of God, made he him: Male and female, created he them, - and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day they were created.
Shall, mortal man, be more just than GOD? Or a man be more pure than, his Maker?
I say unto GOD, Do not hold me guilty, Let me know, on what account thou contendest with me! Is it seemly in thee, that thou shouldst oppress? that thou shouldst despise the labour of thine own hand, when, upon the counsel of the lawless, thou hast shone?

For, a man, indeed, ought not to be veiling his head, being, the image and glory of God, - but, the woman, is the glory of man;
As, the man of earth, such, also, the men of earth, and, as, the man of heaven, such, also, the men of heaven; And, even as we have borne the image of the man of earth, let us also bear the image of the man of heaven.
Thou hast made him less, some little, than messengers, With glory and honour, hast thou crowned him, - And hast set him over the works of thy hands;
