How can ye believe while ye receive honor from one another, and seek not the honor that is from him who alone is God? Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye have placed your hope. I have glorified thee on the earth, having finished the work which thou gavest me to do; and now, Father! do thou glorify me with thyself, with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. Yet not for these alone do I pray, but also for those who believe in me through their word; that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me and I in thee, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that thou didst send me. And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given them, that they may be one, even as we are one; I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one, that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father! as to that which thou hast given me, I desire that they also be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me; for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. Righteous Father! and yet the world knew thee not! but I knew thee, and these knew that thou didst send me. And I made known to them thy name, and will make it known; that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
