And from the fig-tree learn ye the simile: When already its branch may have become tender, and the leaves it may put forth, ye know that summer is nigh, so also ye, when ye may see all these, ye know that it is nigh -- at the doors. Verily I say to you, this generation may not pass away till all these may come to pass.

And he said also to the multitudes, 'When ye may see the cloud rising from the west, immediately ye say, A shower doth come, and it is so; and when -- a south wind blowing, ye say, that there will be heat, and it is; hypocrites! the face of the earth and of the heaven ye have known to make proof of, but this time -- how do ye not make proof of it?
