And the Pharisee who had invited him, when he saw this, said within himself, This man, if he were a prophet, would know who, and what sort of woman, this is that toucheth him; for she is a sinner.
And the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and said to him, Zacchaeas, make haste and come down; for today I must abide at thy house. And he made haste and came down, and received him joyfully. And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, He hath gone in to be the guest of a sinner.

And the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
Why doth this man speak thus? He blasphemeth; who can forgive sins but God only?
And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, Why doth your teacher eat with the publicans and sinners?
But the Pharisees, seeing it, said to him, Lo! thy disciples are doing that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath.
Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
And when they saw that he was eating with the publicans and sinners, they said to his disciples, Doth he eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
and seeing some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is, unwashed hands,
And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, He hath gone in to be the guest of a sinner.
The Jews therefore murmured about him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven;

And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, He hath gone in to be the guest of a sinner.
And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with the publicans and sinners?
The Jews therefore murmured about him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven; and they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, one whose father and mother we know? How is it then that this man saith, I have come down from heaven? Jesus therefore answered and said to them, Murmur not among yourselves.
