and Jesus responding said to them, You err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but they are as angels of God in heaven: concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, read more.

And he speaking this, there was a dissension of the Pharisees and Sadducees: and the multitude was divided. For the Sadducees indeed say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.



But you have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: because they are worthy. And one of the elders responded, to me saying, Who are these who are clothed in white robes, and whence came they? And I said unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me; These are those coming up out of great tribulation, who have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. On account of this they are before the throne of God, and they worship him day and night in his temple, and the one sitting upon the throne will spread his tabernacle over them. read more.
And they will never hunger or thirst any more; neither will the sun, or any heat, fall on them: because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherdize them, and guide them to the fountains of the waters of life; and God will wipe every tear out of their eyes.
