Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.







who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. While he was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue's house who said, "Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?" But ignoring what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, "Do not be afraid; only believe."

But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away. For if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
