Do not speak in the ears of a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of your words.












In the fear of Jehovah is strong hope, and His sons shall have a place of refuge. The fear of Jehovah is a fountain of life to turn aside from the snares of death.


Jehovah is exalted, for He dwells on high. He has filled Zion with judgment and righteousness. And He will be the security of your times, and strength of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of Jehovah is his treasure.


Then those fearing Jehovah spoke together, each man to his neighbor. And Jehovah listened and heard. And a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who feared Jehovah, and for those esteeming His name.


If you will fear Jehovah, and serve Him, and listen to His voice, and not rebel against the command of Jehovah, then both you and also the king who reigns over you shall continue following Jehovah your God.

What man is he who fears Jehovah? He shall teach him in the way that he shall choose.

How great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You; You have worked for those who trust in You before the sons of men!



Who among you fears Jehovah, who obeys the voice of His servant, who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of Jehovah and rest on his God.


but in every nation he who fears Him and works righteousness is accepted with Him.








But they mocked the messengers of God and despised His words, and ill-treated His prophets until the wrath of Jehovah arose against His people, until there was no healing.



And the runners passed from city to city in the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, even to Zebulun. But they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.

But to the wicked, God says, What is it to you, to declare My Precepts, and to take up My covenant in your mouth? Yea, you hate to be taught, and you toss My Words behind you.

Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as Jehovah my God commanded me, so that you should do so in the land where you go to possess it. And you shall keep and do them, for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
