Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon those that fear him, upon those that wait for his mercy to deliver their souls from death and to keep them alive in the famine.


He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; he that keeps thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.


For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen because their tongue and their doings have been against the LORD, to irritate the eyes of his majesty.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are against the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, said the LORD.



It is he who placed our soul into life and did not suffer our feet to slip.

When they went from nation to nation from one kingdom to another people, he suffered no man to do them wrong; yea, he chastened kings for their sakes: Saying, Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm.
