That they should seek the Lord, if perhaps they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:




For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. He is near that justifies me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is my adversary? let him come near to me.

Am I a God at hand, says the LORD, and not a God afar off?



And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Am I a God at hand, says the LORD, and not a God afar off?

He is near that justifies me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is my adversary? let him come near to me.



For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.

The Lord at your right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.


For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. Glory and honor are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For you will not leave my soul in sheol; neither will you allow your Holy One to see corruption. read more.

The stone which the builders rejected has become the head stone of the corner. This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of his descendants, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For you will not leave my soul in sheol; neither will you allow your Holy One to see corruption. read more.
