for Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one who believes. For Moses writes that the man who did the righteousness of the law shall live thereby; but the righteousness which is of faith speaks thus: "Say not in your heart, who shall ascend up into Heaven? See that no one render to any one evil for evil; but always pursue that which is good, toward one another, and toward all. Rejoice always: pray without ceasing. read more.

Ye see that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. And, in like manner, was not also Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she received the messengers, and sent them out by another way? For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith apart from works is dead.
