Likewise, you younger men, be subject to the elders. And all of you clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing in the Lord.
Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you.
Honor your father and your mother so that you may have a long life in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

Teach a youth about the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
And fathers, don't stir up anger in your children, but bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

Then all the men of his city will stone him to death. You must purge the evil from you, and all Israel will hear and be afraid.
And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.
The one who walks with the wise will become wise, but a companion of fools will suffer harm.
Sons are indeed a heritage from the Lord, children, a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the sons born in one's youth. Happy is the man who has filled his quiver with them. Such men will never be put to shame when they speak with [their] enemies at the city gate.
Listen, my son, to your father's instruction, and don't reject your mother's teaching, for they will be a garland of grace on your head and a [gold] chain around your neck.
Foolishness is tangled up in the heart of a youth; the rod of discipline will drive it away from him.
Discipline your son, and he will give you comfort; he will also give you delight.

Happy is he who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rocks.
So remember your Creator in the days of your youth: Before the days of adversity come, and the years approach when you will say, "I have no delight in them";
