But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.
He considered that God was able to raise men even from the dead; from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.
So he called him and said to him, 'What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your stewardship, for you can no longer be steward.'
Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek for the profit which increases to your account.

For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?
He also said to his disciples: "There was a certain rich man who had a steward, and an accusation was brought to him that this man was wasting his goods.
We intend that no one should blame us about this liberal gift which we are administering,
(For sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted when there is no law.
As it is written: "For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered."
By faith we understand that the world was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
