And He said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go to him at midnight, and say to him, Friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine on his journey is come to me,
I am the bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead:
And He took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven He blessed them; and brake and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.
Our fathers did eat manna in the desert, as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
But he answered, It is not fit to take the children's bread and throw it to dogs: and she said, True, Lord;
And may He, who supplieth seed to the sower, and giveth bread for food, furnish and multiply your sowing, and increase the fruits of your bounty:)
For I received from the Lord, that which I also delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread:
And continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they partook of their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,
and gave thanks, and brake it, and said, "Take and eat; this is my body, which is going to be broken for you: this do in remembrance of me."
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of this bread and drink of this cup:
