he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me, to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To publish the acceptable year of the Lord.
We are troubled on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; thrown down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body.
Therefore we faint not, but even though the outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh out for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory: While we aim not at the things that are seen, but the things that are not seen: for the things that are seen are temporal, but the things that are not seen are eternal.
