he who has heard the words of God has said, who saw the vision of the Almighty, fallen, but having his eyes open:

And I know such a man (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell; God knows) who was caught up into paradise and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

I was in the Spirit in the day of the Lord and heard behind me a great voice as of a trumpet,

And when they came there to the hill, behold, the company of prophets met him, and the Spirit of God prospered him, and he prophesied among them. Is Saul also among the prophets?

In the year that king Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

Afterwards the Spirit took me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into the land of the Chaldeans to the captives. So the vision that I had seen went up from me. Then I spoke unto the captives all the words of the LORD that he had showed me.

Then the mystery was revealed unto Daniel in a night vision for which Daniel blessed the God of heaven. And Daniel spoke and said, Blessed be the name of God from age to age for wisdom and might are his; and it is he that changes the times and the opportunities; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom unto the wise and knowledge unto those that know understanding:

And only I, Daniel, saw that vision: for the men that were with me did not see the vision; but a great fear fell upon them, and they fled and hid themselves. Therefore I was left alone and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me, for my strength was turned into dismay, and I retained no strength.

And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; to whom the Lord said in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him and saying unto him, Cornelius.

and he became very hungry and would have eaten; but while they made ready, he fell into a rapture of understanding and saw the heaven opened and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners and let down to the earth, in which were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth and wild beasts and reptiles and fowls of the air.read more.
And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter, kill and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spoke unto him again the second time, That which God has cleansed, do not call common. This was done three times, and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a rapture of understanding I saw a vision: A certain vessel descended like a great sheet let down from heaven by the four corners, and it came unto me,

And immediately I was in the spirit, and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and there was one seated upon the throne.

So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman seated upon a scarlet-coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of the heaven from and with God,

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

While Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word. And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, that also on the Gentiles the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered,

And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent and hast revealed them unto babes; even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though at present ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory;

Thou hast put gladness in my heart in the time that their grain and their wine multiplied.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song I will praise him.

And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy and ran to bring his disciples word.

But many of the priests and Levites and of the heads of the fathers, who were ancient men that had seen the first house, as the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice while many shouted aloud for joy:

And the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD's house.

And the sons of Israel, the priests and the Levites and the rest of the sons of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy,

And it came to pass, as Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, while he came down from the mount, that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone after he had talked with him.

and [he] was transfigured before them, and his face shined as the sun, and his raiment was as white as the light.

And when he came out, he could not speak unto them; and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple, for he communicated with signs and remained speechless.

For ye shall go out with joy, and be returned with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

But as it is written, That which eye has not seen nor ear heard neither has entered into the heart of man is that which God has prepared for those that love him. But God has revealed this unto us by his Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with songs; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall retain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Therefore the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head; they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
