Anyone that offered an offering of silver or brass brought the offering unto the LORD; and every man, with whom was found cedar wood, brought it for all the work of the service. And all the women that were wise hearted spun with their hands and brought that which they had spun: blue or purple or scarlet or fine linen. And all the women whose heart lifted them up in wisdom spun goats' hair. And the princes brought onyx stones and the stones to be set for the ephod and for the pectoral; and aromatic spice and oil for the light and for the anointing oil and for the aromatic incense. Of the sons of Israel, men and women, all that had a willing heart to bring for all the work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses, brought a voluntary offering unto the LORD.

Therefore as long as we have the opportunity, let us do good unto everyone, especially unto those who are of the household of faith.

And if thy brother becomes poor and comes unto thee, then thou shalt receive him; as a stranger, or a sojourner, he shall live with thee.
If thy enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink,
Give to him that asks of thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
Sell what ye have and give alms; ; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that fails not, where no thief approaches neither moth corrupts.
Notwithstanding ye have done well, that ye did communicate with my tribulation. Now ye Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel when I departed from Macedonia, no congregation communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. so that being enriched in everything to all generosity, which works out through us thanksgiving unto God. For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also abounds in much thanksgiving unto God; that by the experience of this ministration, they glorify God for the obedience of your consent unto the gospel of the Christ and in your liberal distribution unto them and unto everyone,
