A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children; And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.

House and riches are an inheritance from fathers; But a prudent wife is from Jehovah.

Why should the name of our father be taken away from among his family, because he had no son? Give unto us a possession among the brethren of our father. And Moses brought their cause before Jehovah. He hath given help to Israel his servant, That he might remember mercy (As he spake unto our fathers) Toward Abraham and his seed for ever.

By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed to go out unto a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he became a sojourner in the land of promise, as in a land not his own, dwelling in tents, with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

and as from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel; and I will cause thee to rest from all thine enemies. Moreover Jehovah telleth thee that Jehovah will make thee a house. When thy days are fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, that shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. And thy house and thy kingdom shall be made sure for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.

Ye are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Much every way: first of all, that they were intrusted with the oracles of God.

And if ye are Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, heirs according to promise.

For not through the law was the promise to Abraham or to his seed that he should be heir of the world, but through the righteousness of faith. For if they that are of the law are heirs, faith is made void, and the promise is made of none effect: for the law worketh wrath; but where there is no law, neither is there transgression.read more.

For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise: but God hath granted it to Abraham by promise.

and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him , that we may be also glorified with him .

For Jehovah's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

And Jehovah shall inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
