for it is through him that we both enjoy our access to the Father in one Spirit.

Let not your hearts be disquieted; you believe ??believe in God and also in me.

I have said all this to you that in me you may have peace; in the world you have trouble, but courage! I have conquered the world.

If you love me you will keep my commands,

Remain in me, as I remain in you: just as a branch cannot bear fruit by itself, without remaining on the vine, neither can you, unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who remains in me, as I in him, bears rich fruit (because apart from me you can do nothing).
