For Jehovah your God is He who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blamelessly at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who called you, who also will do it.

But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you and guard you from the evil.

In the fear of Jehovah is strong hope, and His sons shall have a place of refuge.

And a man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a shelter from the tempest, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

And there shall be a booth for a shade by day from the heat, and for a refuge, and for a hiding place from storm and rain.

When you lie down, you shall not be afraid; yea, you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet.

I will lie down, both in peace and in sleep. For You alone, Jehovah, make me dwell in safety.

God is known in her strongholds for a refuge.

The king is not saved by a great army; a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

Our soul waits for Jehovah; He is our help and our shield.

O my Strength, let me look to You, for God is my strong tower. The God of my mercy shall go before me; God shall let me see my desire on my enemies.
