7 Bible Verses about Lending

Give to him that asks, and from him that would borrow of you turn not away.

The poor you have always with you, and you can do them good when you will; but me you have not always.

And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what thanks have you? sinners also lend to sinners, to receive back as much again. But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward shall be great, and you shall be children of the Most High; for he is good to the unthankful and evil. Be merciful, as your father is merciful;

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

And if any one says to you, Why do you do this? say, The Lord has need of him, and he will immediately send him.
