Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but put the spirits to the test to see whether they are from God; for many false teachers have gone out into the world.

The Lord saw her, was moved with pity for her, and said to her, "Do not weep."
Throw the whole of your anxiety upon Him, because He Himself cares for you.
For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their supplication; but the face of the Lord is set against evil-doers."

But the spiritual man judges of everything, although he is himself judged by no one. For who has penetrated the mind of the Lord, and will instruct Him? But *we* have the mind of Christ.
For if men are controlled by their earthly natures, they give their minds to earthly things. If they are controlled by their spiritual natures, they give their minds to spiritual things.
But in my judgement, her state is a more enviable one if she remains as she is; and I also think that I have the Spirit of God.
This then is what I mean. Let your lives be guided by the Spirit, and then you will certainly not indulge the cravings of your lower natures.
