For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might lead us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,

but now, in Christ Jesus you who were formerly far off have been made nigh by the blood of Christ. Having been justified therefore by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
