and be not partakers of the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret it is base even to mention;

For his brothers did not believe on him. Then Jesus said to them, My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you, but me it hates, because I testify of it that its works are evil. Do you go up to the feast; I go not up to this feast, because my time has not yet fully come. but we speak a wisdom of God hid in mystery, which God appointed from eternity for our glory,

Let a man so regard us as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

But if all prophesy, and there comes in an unbeliever or an unlearned man, he is convinced by all, he is examined by all, and the secrets of his heart are made manifest, and so falling down on his face he worships God, declaring that God is really among you.

I know both how to be humbled, and I know how to abound; in every thing and in all conditions I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer want.
