And Jesus answered and said to them, You err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
Jesus said to them, Do you not err on this account, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God?
let him know that he who converts a sinner from an error of [his] way, shall save a soul from death, and hide a multitude of sins.
We are of God; he that knows God hears us, he that is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
Do you therefore, beloved, knowing [these things] before, be on your guard not to be carried away with the error of the wicked and fall from your steadfastness,

All Scripture is divinely inspired and is profitable for instruction, for conviction, for correction, for education in righteousnes,
But if your brother sins against you, go and reprove him between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.
For speaking extravagant words of vanity, they entice with carnal desires of lewdness those scarcely escaped from them, those living in error,
having left the right way they have gone astray, following in the way of Balaam the son of Beor who loved the wages of wickedness,
in meekness correcting the adversaries, that God may give them a change of mind to a knowledge of the truth,
