Be on the your guard, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

For we have come to share in Christ if we hold our first confidence firm to the end,

But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, and strengthen you.

As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the cunning of men, by their craftiness in deceitful scheming.

We proclaim him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.
