For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
For we will certainly die and be like water poured out on the ground, which can't be recovered. But God would not take away a life; He would devise plans so that the one banished from Him does not remain banished.
For one can see that wise men die; the foolish and the senseless also pass away. Then they leave their wealth to others.
What man can live and never see death? Who can save himself from the power of Sheol? Selah

I am pressured by both. I have the desire to depart and be with Christ-which is far better-

The death of His faithful ones is valuable in the Lord's sight.
One day the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried.
If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
For me, living is Christ and dying is gain.
Then I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "let them rest from their labors, for their works follow them!"
