He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon son of Jonas, dost thou love me? He saith unto Him, Yes, Lord, Thou knowest that I love Thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon son of Jonas, dost thou love me? Peter was grieved, that He said to him the third time, Dost thou love me? And he said unto Him, Lord, Thou knowest all things, Thou knowest that I love Thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
If thou lay these things before the brethren, thou wilt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, as one brought up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, to which thou hast attained.
For there are many disorderly persons, vain-talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision; whose mouths must be stopped: who subvert whole families, teaching what they ought not, for shameful gain:
And seeing one of them injured he defended him, and smiting the Egyptian he avenged him that was wronged.
Be ruled by those that are your guides, and submit to them: for they watch for your souls; (as those that must give an account) that they may do it with joy and not with uneasiness: for this were unprofitable for you.

as said one of themselves, a prophet of their own, "The Cretans are always liars, mischievous beasts, sluggish gluttons." This testimony is true: for which cause rebuke them sharply, that they may be found in the faith; not attending to Jewish fables, and the precepts of men who turn away from the truth.
the former preach Christ out of contention, not sincerely, thinking to add affliction to my bonds;
Now Stephen being full of grace and power, wrought miracles and great signs among the people. I wonder that ye are so soon removed from him who called you by the grace of Christ to another gospel: which is not another; but there be some that disturb you, and would subvert the gospel of Christ. But tho' we or an angel from heaven should preach to you any other gospel than what we have preached to you; let him be accursed.read more.
I say it again, if any one preach to you any other gospel than what ye have received, let him be accursed.
But when Peter came to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was indeed to be blamed. For before certain men came from James, he did eat with the gentiles; but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those of the circumcision. And the rest of the Jews dissembled also with him; so that Barnabas too was carried away with their dissimulation.read more.
But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all,---If thou, who art a Jew, livest sometimes after the manner of the gentiles, and not like the Jews, why dost thou now in a manner compel the gentiles to judaize?
As it is just for me to think this of you all, because ye have me in your heart, both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, being all of you partakers of the same grace with me.
