Seeing what may be known of God, that same is manifest among them: For God did show it unto them. So that his invisible things, that is to say, his eternal power and godhead, are understood and seen by the works from the creation of the world. So that they are without excuse,
For if the gentiles, which have no law, do of nature the things contained in the law: then they having no law, are a law unto themselves, which show the deed of the law written in their hearts: While their conscience beareth witness unto them, and also their thoughts, accusing one another, or excusing,
For all scripture given by inspiration of God, is profitable to teach, to improve, to amend, and to instruct in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, and prepared unto all good works.
And see that ye be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves with sophistry.
O praise the LORD ye angels of his, ye that excel in strength, ye that fulfill his commandment, and hearken unto the voice of his word.
"I have declared thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world. Thine they were, and thou gavest them me, and they have kept thy sayings.

and yet for all that they would not hearken unto their judges: But went a whoring after strange gods and bowed themselves unto them, and turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in obeying the commandments of the LORD, and did not so.
Then the king sent and gathered together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem. And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and the inhabiters of Jerusalem and the Priests and Levites and all the people great and small: and read all the words of the book of the covenant that was found in the house of the LORD. And the king stood at his standing and made a covenant before the LORD, to follow the LORD and to keep his commandments, his witnesses and his statutes with all his heart and with all his soul and to fulfill the words of the covenant written in the said book.
Teach me to do the thing that pleaseth thee; for thou art my God. Let thy loving spirit lead me forth into the land of righteousness.
Epaphras the servant of Christ, which is one of you, saluteth you, and always laboureth fervently for you in prayers that ye may stand perfect, and full in all that is the will of God.
If ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love: even as I have kept my father's commandments, and abide in his love.
A new commandment give I unto you: that ye love together: as I have loved you, that even so ye love one another.

Henceforth, call I you not servants: For the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth. But you have I called friends: For all things that I have heard of my father, I have opened to you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that ye go, and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit remain, that whatsoever ye shall ask of the father in my name he should give it you. This command I you, that ye love together.
If any man think himself a prophet, either spiritual: let him understand what things I write unto you. For they are the commandments of the Lord.
Let every man please his neighbor unto his wealth and edifying. For Christ pleased not himself: but as it is written, "The rebukes of them which rebuked thee, fell on me."
Ye know the liberality of our Lord Jesus Christ, which though he were rich, yet for your sakes became poor: that ye through his poverty might be made rich.
Be ye followers of God as dear children, and walk in love even as Christ loved us, and gave himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice of a sweet savour to God.
Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus:
forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel to another; even as Christ forgave you, even so do ye.
For hereunto verily were ye called, for Christ also suffered for us: leaving us an example that ye should follow his steps,
But I say unto you, Whosoever is angry with his brother shall be in danger of judgment: whosoever sayeth unto his brother, 'Raca,' shall be in danger of a council: but whosoever sayeth, 'Thou fool,' shall be in danger of hell fire.
For he taught them as one having power, and not as the scribes.
He that believeth on him shall not be condemned. But he that believeth not, is condemned already, because he believeth not in the name of the only son of God. And this is the condemnation: that light is come into the world, and the men have loved darkness more than light, because their deeds were evil.
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The son can do no thing of himself: but that he seeth the father do. For whatsoever he doeth, that doeth the son also.
He that refuseth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him. The words that I have spoken, they shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself: but the father which sent me, he gave me a commandment what I should say, and what I should speak.
Jesus said unto him, "I am the way, the truth and the life. And no man cometh unto the father, but by me.
If I had not come and spoken unto them, they should not have had sin: but now have they nothing to cloak their sin withal.
For this cause, God gave them up unto shameful lusts. For even their women did change the natural use unto the unnatural. And likewise also the men left the natural use of the woman, and burnt in their lusts, one on another, among themselves. And man with man wrought filthiness: and received in themselves the reward of their error, as it was according.
"'Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind, for that is abomination. Thou shalt lie with no manner of beast to defile thyself therewith, neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto, for that is abomination.
There goeth a common saying that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not once named among the gentiles: that one should have his father's wife.
Let every soul submit himself unto the authority of the higher powers. For there is no power, but of God. The powers that be, are ordained of God.
They said unto him, "Caesar's." Then said he unto them, "Give therefore to Caesar, that which is Caesar's: and give unto God, that which is God's."
And Jesus answered, and said unto them, "Then give to Caesar that which belongeth to Caesar: and give to God that which pertaineth to God." And they marveled at him.
And he said unto them, "Give then unto Caesar, that which belongeth unto Cesar: And to God, that which pertaineth to God."
Jesus answered, "Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given unto thee from above. Therefore he that delivered me unto thee, is more in sin."
Whosoever therefore resisteth power, resisteth the ordinance of God. And they that resist, shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not to be feared for good works but for evil. Wilt thou be without fear of the power? Do well then: and so shalt thou be praised of the same. For he is the minister of God, for thy wealth. But and if thou do evil, then fear: for he beareth not a sword for nought; but is the minister of God, to take vengeance on them that do evil.read more.
Wherefore ye must needs obey, not for fear of vengeance only: but also because of conscience.
Submit yourselves unto all manner ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether it be unto the King as unto the chief head; other unto rulers, as unto them that are sent of him, for the punishment of evil doers: but for the laud of them that well do.
Who goeth a warfare any time at his own cost? Who planteth a vineyard and eateth not of the fruit? Or who feedeth a flock and eateth not of the milk?
