If thou findest honey, eat so much as is sufficient for thee; lest thou be overfull, and parbreak it out again.

When thou sittest at the table to eat with a lord, order thyself mannerly with the things that are set before thee.

For every man beginneth afore to eat his own supper. And one is hungry, and another is drunken.

Measure thine appetite:

Take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be overcome with surfeiting and drunkenness, and cares of this world: and that, that day come on you unawares.
