'Parents' in the Bible
“Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will even rise up against their parents and have them put to death.

His disciples questioned Him: “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” Jesus answered. “This came about so that God’s works might be displayed in him.
The Jews did not believe this about him—that he was blind and received sight—until they summoned the parents of the one who had received his sight.
“We know this is our son and that he was born blind,” his parents answered.
His parents said these things because they were afraid of the Jews, since the Jews had already agreed that if anyone confessed Him as Messiah, he would be banned from the synagogue.
This is why his parents said, “He’s of age; ask him.”
slanderers, God-haters, arrogant, proud, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,
Now I am ready to come to you this third time. I will not burden you, for I am not seeking what is yours, but you. For children are not obligated to save up for their parents, but parents for their children.
Children, obey your parents as you would the Lord, because this is right.
Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
But if any widow has children or grandchildren, they must learn to practice godliness toward their own family first and to repay their parents, for this pleases God.
