'Rebuke' in the Bible
And Peter taking him to him began to rebuke him, saying, God be favourable to thee, Lord; this shall in no wise be unto thee.
And he spoke the thing openly. And Peter, taking him to him, began to rebuke him.
Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother should sin, rebuke him; and if he should repent, forgive him.
And some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to him, Teacher, rebuke thy disciples.
Sufficient to such a one is this rebuke which has been inflicted by the many;
Rebuke not an elder sharply, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brethren,
proclaim the word; be urgent in season and out of season, convict, rebuke, encourage, with all longsuffering and doctrine.
