'Replied' in the Bible

He replied, “The man who made me well told me, ‘Pick up your mat and walk.’”

Then Jesus replied, “I assure you: The Son is not able to do anything on His own, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does these things in the same way.

“Woman,” Jesus said to her, “why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”Supposing He was the gardener, she replied, “Sir, if you’ve removed Him, tell me where you’ve put Him, and I will take Him away.”

“Please pray to the Lord for me,” Simon replied, “so that nothing you have said may happen to me.”

The eunuch replied to Philip, “I ask you, who is the prophet saying this about—himself or another person?”

“Then I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’“And the Lord replied: ‘I am Jesus, the One you are persecuting.

But Paul replied, “I’m not out of my mind, most excellent Festus. On the contrary, I’m speaking words of truth and good judgment.

“I wish before God,” replied Paul, “that whether easily or with difficulty, not only you but all who listen to me today might become as I am—except for these chains.”
