'Sons' in the Bible

The LORD took note of Hannah, and she became pregnant and gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel continued to grow, and the LORD was constantly with him.

Now Sheshan had no sons, only daughters. However, Sheshan had an Egyptian slave named Jarha.

Shobal, who fathered Kiriath-jearim, had other sons, including Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth.

All these were David's sons, besides children born to his mistresses. Tamar was their sister.

Shecaniah's son was Shemaiah, and the six sons of Shemaiah were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.

The three sons of Neariah were Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam.

Shimei had 16 sons and six daughters, but his relatives did not have many children, nor did their entire family multiply like the Judeans did.
