'Insult' in the Bible

“You are blessed when they insult and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of Me.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who insult you and persecute you,

and the rest, having laid hold on his servants, did insult and slay them.

The robbers who had been crucified with Him were also insulting Him with the same words.

they will insult Him in cruel sport, spit on Him, scourge Him, and put Him to death; but on the third day He will rise to life again."

And again he sent to them another bondman; and at him they threw stones, and struck him on the head, and sent him away with insult.

You are blessed when people hate you,when they exclude you, insult you,and slander your name as evilbecause of the Son of Man.
