'Mercy' in the Bible
But go and learn what that is I will have mercy and not sacrifice; for I have not come to call righteous men but sinners.
And as Jesus passed on thence, two blind men followed him, crying and saying, Have mercy on us, Son of David.
But if ye had known what is: I will have mercy and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is lunatic, and suffers sorely; for often he falls into the fire and often into the water.
And lo, two blind men, sitting by the wayside, having heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out saying, Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David.

and his mercy is to generations and generations to them that fear him.
He has helped Israel his servant, in order to remember mercy,
And her neighbours and kinsfolk heard that the Lord had magnified his mercy with her, and they rejoiced with her.
to fulfil mercy with our fathers and remember his holy covenant,
on account of the bowels of mercy of our God; wherein the dayspring from on high has visited us,
And he said, He that shewed him mercy. And Jesus said to him, Go, and do thou likewise.

And those who were going before rebuked him that he might be silent; but he cried out so much the more, Son of David, have mercy on me.
For he says to Moses, I will shew mercy to whom I will shew mercy, and I will feel compassion for whom I will feel compassion.
So then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shews mercy.
So then, to whom he will he shews mercy, and whom he will he hardens.
and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he had before prepared for glory,
For as indeed ye also once have not believed in God, but now have been objects of mercy through the unbelief of these;
so these also have now not believed in your mercy, in order that they also may be objects of mercy.
For God hath shut up together all in unbelief, in order that he might shew mercy to all.
or he that exhorts, in exhortation; he that gives, in simplicity; he that leads, with diligence; he that shews mercy, with cheerfulness.
and that the nations should glorify God for mercy; according as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the nations, and will sing to thy name.
But concerning virgins, I have no commandment of the Lord; but I give my opinion, as having received mercy of the Lord to be faithful.
Therefore, having this ministry, as we have had mercy shewn us, we faint not.
