'Refuses' in the Bible
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is hard: he refuses to let the people go.
If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he must pay an amount in silver equal to the bridal price for virgins.
And Balaam rose up in the morning, and said to the princes of Balak, Go into your land; for Jehovah refuses to give me leave to go with you.
The leaders of Moab arose and went to Balak, and said, “Balaam refused to come with us.”
But if her father disapproves of her [making her vow] on the day that he hears about it, none of her vows or her pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand; and the Lord will forgive her because her father has disapproved of her [making the vow].
But if her husband disapproves of her [making her vow or pledge] on the day that he hears of it, then he shall annul her vow which she is under and the rash statement of her lips by which she bound herself; and the Lord will forgive her.
However, if it does not make peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall lay siege to it.
"If a man has a stubborn son who does not obey his parents, and although they try to discipline him, he still refuses to pay attention to them,
But if the man doesn’t want to marry his sister-in-law, she must go to the elders at the city gate and say, ‘My brother-in-law refuses to preserve his brother’s name in Israel. He isn’t willing to perform the duty of a brother-in-law for me.’
Cursed is the one who refuses to keep the words of this law.' Then all the people will say, 'Amen!'
Whoever refuses to practice the law of your God and the law of the king is to see judgment executed quickly, whether to death, banishment, confiscation of goods, or imprisonment.
“My soul refuses to touch them;They are like loathsome food to me.

This evil people that refuses to listen to my words, that stubbornly pursues their own desires, and that follows other gods to serve and worship them, will be like this belt that is not good for anything.

If anyone teaches false doctrine and refuses to agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, and godly teaching,

I wrote something to the church; but Diotrephes, who loves to put himself first, does not accept what we say and refuses to recognize my authority.

I gave her time to repent [to change her inner self and her sinful way of thinking], but she has no desire to repent of her immorality and refuses to do so.
